1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BaitJar ("the Service"), operated by BaitJar ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BaitJar is an AI-powered platform that generates professional lead magnets — including playbooks, checklists, and guides — for B2B marketing teams. The Service analyzes your brand and audience inputs to produce downloadable, gated content.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Payments and Refunds

BaitJar charges a one-time fee per generated lead magnet. All payments are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, tax compliance, invoicing, and payment disputes on our behalf.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with Paddle's refund policy. If you are unsatisfied with a generated document, contact us at baitjarapp@gmail.com and we will work to resolve the issue.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written consent
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its outputs without our written consent

6. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of all inputs you provide (brand information, URLs, descriptions). You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to deliver the Service.

Generated content: Upon payment, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and distribute the lead magnets generated for you through the Service for your business purposes.

Our platform: The BaitJar name, logo, software, templates, and design systems remain our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or technology beyond using the Service as intended.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content produced by BaitJar is generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before publishing or distributing it.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using BaitJar, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep BaitJar available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaitJar and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law
